Reflective safety band
From 1 March 2009, BikePoint.cz Ltd. and their partners are helping seriously ill and neglected children in the Czech Republic.
From 1 March 2009, in the shops mentioned below, you have a great opportunity to buy reflective safety band for 35 CZK each, and thus help to purchase medical devices for paediatric units in hospitals and other necessary items for children in care homes within the Czech Republic.
The reflective wristbands carry the logo of the charity - smiley sun. This logo, will bring a smile to the faces of both your children and also those who need our support.

Reflective safety band as a method for preventing accidents for you and your children
The reflective band significantly increases the safety of children, adults, cyclists and also pets whilst they are in traffic. The band is primarily suitable for situations with lower visibility, because it significantly increases the distance, in which a driver notices a pedestrian; it is also very beneficial in normal weather conditions.
It improves visibility during daylight, and has the ability to reflect light at night. In order to maximise the effectiveness of the band, please place it on a part of the body, or an item, which is easily visible, for example the upper arm, wrist, pram, bike, your bag, a handbag, or just as a decorative wristband.
Available colours: orange, yellow, silver and blue
Size: 25 x 3 cm
The band will automatically wrap itself around the desired part of the body or item, thus adjusting itself completely to the appropriate size. Can be re-used time and time again.

Serious accidents take place every day on our roads, and children are more at risk than other pedestrians. They concentrate less and cannot yet anticipate dangerous situations. This is why it is so important that they are seen, when on the roads, as much as possible. The reflective band will make their journeys safer. Whilst blue clothes are visible by a driver from 18 metres, the reflective material will increase the visibility to 200 metres, not only at night but also during lower visibility condition during the day. Only reflective material provides the driver with enough time to evaluate the conditions on the road and react appropriately.
