Our help towards paediatric wards
The foundation Life for children has paid the biggest attention to helping paediatric wards since the beginning. The help did not include only the hospitals in Prague but also the hospitals in whole country.
In the Prague we have been helping to:
Clinic of child's and young generation medicine at VFN and the First Medical Faculty of Charles's University
- since 2003, the foundation Life for Children has been helping Intensive Care Unit, which is the part of this Clinic
- in December 2004 Intensive Care Unit received from the foundation a monitoring system for 6,480,778.50 CZK.
Intensive Care Unit received from the foundation Life for Children device equipments in total value of 16 249 381,80 CZK.
The University Hospital Motol
- between (2000 – 2003) the foundation supported the haematology and oncology clinic,directly Unit for the bone marrow transplantation .This unit received medical and device equipments in a total value of 12,410,459.00 CZK
- between 2002 – 2005 was our foundation helping to Pediatric clinic (used tobe The Second children’s clinic) .The contribution was given also to laboratories (molecular genetics, autoimmune diseases, molecular biology).
The Pediatric clinic together with the laboratories received medical technology and other equipments in a total value of 5 940426,9 CZK
The University Hospital Motol in Prague received from our foundation the medical equipments in a total value of 21 603 988,56 CZK.
In 2004 Foundation Life for Children started to support
Mother and child care Institution in Prague – Podolí
In May 2005 the foundation bought a blood gas analyzer Gem Premier 3000 for the Intensive care unit in a total value of 519,750.00 CZK
In the beginning of the year 2003 the foundation started to support children´s wards in hospitals in the Czech Republic. The foundation Life for Children is convinced that helping hospitals outside of Prague is as important as helping hospitals in Prague. The foundation is trying to support all regions.
