Children's home Vysoká Pec
This home was built in little village called Vysoka Pec located between towns Most and Chomutov and has been opened since 1971. The house accommodates 32 children aged 3-18 years old .
The part of this house performs as a nursery for children from the village.
Children who live in this home are very nice,friendly and also talented. One of the most talented children is Robert. He has been playing piano for five years and he is guaranteed to have a teacher from the Music Academy.
Some of these children play the quitar,the flute or attend the dancing and drawing classes . They all enjoy sports activities.
At the beginning of year 2006 there was built another house in addition to the previous one.In the past there used to be ten children in one room and they all got the attention and service from the staff but when they left home they were not ready to face the problems of the real life. That was the reason why the number of children was reduced to16 for this house and now the children are brought up to be more independent by helping with all the housework appropriate to their age.
We appreciate any help offered to these children homes. We are trying to make their life’s conditions possible as much we can. We do realise being brought up in the children home can be taken as a handicap by some of these children.
